قسمت اول بازی بازی Two Worlds در سال 2007 برای پلتفرم های PC/Xbox 360 عرضه شد و قرار بود که سبک نقش آفرینی (RolePlaying) را تکانی بدهد ولی در این زمینه چندان موفق عمل نکرد هر چند که بازی حدی توانست خوب ظاهر شود که سازندگانش را ترغیب به ساخت قسمت دوم آن کند. در قسمت اول، بازیکن آزادی عملی خوبی داشت و امیدوارم که در این نسخه باز هم آزادی عمل وجود داشته باشد.
داستان بازی 2 سال پس از اتفاقات نسخه قبلی اتفاق می افتد و قرار است از انجین جدیدی در ساخت بازی استفاده کنند.
یکی از نکات ضعف بزرگ در نسخه اول بالانس نبودن بازی بود به طور مثال لول (Level) دشمنان در بازی اصلا به طور مساوی تقسیم نشده بود، یعنی ممکن بود شما به موجودی برخورد میکردید که سطح لولش از شما بالاتر بود و اگر با آن مقابله میکردین با یک یا دو ضربه شما را به ابدیت میفرستاد که باز هم امیدوارم این ضعف بزرگ قسمت اول در این شماره برطرف شود.
بازی قرار است در تاریخ 14 سپتامبر 2010 (23 شهریور 89) به طور همزمان برای پلتفرم های PC, PS3, Xbox 360 عرضه شود.

The second game in the Two Worlds series is supposed to be released on October, 30 for PC, Mac and consoles. The forthcoming RPG is based on a new engine that will exceed the capabilities of the predecessor. The GRACE Engine is said to offer up to 12,000 polygons with 1024 x 1024 pixels for the main characters as well as dynamic light sources, godrays, bloom effects and Depth of Field. Currently the developers try to achieve short loading times and a good performance in order to reach constant 30 fps at a resolution of 1280 x 720 - for the consoles at least.

In matters of sound the developers reveal that the background music is composed and will be automatically adjusted to the situation in the game. Sound effects are integrated in AC3 format and thus the game supports 5.1 sound.

Besides the technical information about the engine the system requirements of Two Worlds II have been revealed, too.
