خوب تعریف شده ترین فیلم ساندنس تا اینجا Splice بوده. اینو کارگردان Cube ساخته(همون فیلمی که شبکه 4 یه مدت خودشو باهاش خفه کرده بود
) توشم Adrian Brody و Sarah Polly یه زن و شوهرین که یه موجود عجیب غریبم هست تو داستان
من کلا چون میخوام ببینمش خیلی دنبال داستانش نرفتم!
Though the most mind boggling thing that Natali is able to do with this sublime film is tell a genuinely heartfelt love story and a pitch-perfect tale of new parenthood and even an oh-so-creepy female Oedipal bit. Of course, in the most perverted, subversive way imaginable. ****ed up is probably the best way to describe Splice. ****ed up in all the right ways.

Hey, if Duncan Jones' Moon (another savvy science fiction picture on a tiny budget light on action, but big on ideas) can find a satisfactorily wide audience, perhaps Splice can too. Those willing to go along with Natali and Dren may not get what they 'want' in terms of expectations of this type of movie, but are in for a film that is soon likely to be considered a Canadian genre gem.

یکی از فیلمایی که من خیلی منتظرم ببینم ملت چی میگن در موردش Get Low هستش، یه سری بازیگر محبوب من(رابرت دووال و بیل موری)تو یه درام وسترن بازی کردن، فیلم تو تورنتو نقداش اکثرا مثبت بود، حالا یه نظر دیگه:
It's a first-rate backwoods American drama with a touch of whimsy. Superbly acted by Robert Duvall , Bill Murray, Lucas Black, Sissy Spacek and Bill Cobbs. An eloquent, plain-spoken, true-heart thing about values, friendships, backstories and buried business
I also found myself enraptured with Aaron Schneider’s “Get Low,” a backwoods tale set in a small, Depression-area town in the Midwest. It’s one of those movies whose humor sneaks up on you, thanks to finely etched performances by Robert Duvall (the wiliest actor around), Bill Murray (like a cinematic Rumpelstiltskin, spinning ordinary lines into comic gold), Sissy Spacek and Bill Cobb. The story of a hermit who decides to hold his own funeral party before he dies, it’s a film that manages to be both sly and soulful, without a bit of wasted motion.
حتما سال دیگه این موقع خیلیا تو پیش بینیاشون واسه اسکار اسم این فیلمو میارن.

کلا تو ساندنس مستند ها خیلی سر و صدا میکنن، حتی بعضا اورریت میشن واسه همین من خیلی به Buzz مستندا دقت نمیکنم، اما در حال حاضر Catfish و Waiting for superman بیشترین Buzz رو دارن.

Company Men (بن افلک، تامی لی جونز)هم که خیلیا منتظرش بودن و داستانش در مورد همین رکود اقتصادی و اخراج کارمندا و اینا بود هم فعلا یه نظر در موردش اومده که میگه خیلی چیز جالبی نیست.
