Dino Crisis Fan-Made Remake

5. Dino Crisis (1999)

Description: Dino Crisis takes place on the fictional Ibis Island circa 2009. The Secret Operation Raid Team (SORT) has sent their agent, Tom, to investigate a research facility. During the recon mission, he learns that Dr. Edward Kirk, a world-renowned scientist who was reported dead three years ago, is leading a secret weapons project within the facility. SORT sends four agents (Regina, Gail, Rick, and Cooper) in to secure Kirk and bring him in.

Capcom struck gold with their 1996 survival horror outing Resident Evil. That was all about zombies; terrorising players in creepy rooms while blending tense gunplay with thought provoking puzzles. With Dino Crisis, they combined their proven 3rd person action horror formula, keeping the bones of Resi but instead of zombies, we got dinosaurs; the game still holds up today and nothing since has come close to replicating that magic.

Anyone who has played the horror game Dino Crisis will be extremely impressed with the main character with the famous red hair. Because this game comes from Capcom – sharing the same house with the popular Resident Evil series – Dino Crisis has many similarities with Resident Evil. However, the idea of this game is completely different. The game will take you to a strange world, and you will be fighting with giant dinosaurs that only appeared in the past.

Protagonist Regina will often be sarcastic and act “cool” while on missions, but she also gradually learns to care for her teammates and prove herself brave. when face to face with brutal dinosaurs.

Capture of Dino Crisis.
Like the Resident Evil saga, the direction of the first installment of Dino Crisis was carried out by Shinji Mikami: this designer signed one of the most iconic works of terror and loved by the community, and he did so by changing the undead for dinosaurs. A year later its sequel, Dino Crisis 2, was released, with Mikami already producing and directing by Shu Takumi; maintaining its basic premises and adding more action to a franchise
that, at least for the moment, Capcom has not wanted to recover, but that we suspect will end up returning in one way or another
