برای جلوگیری از توهم توطئه، این سایت سال 2004 به DOOM 3 امتیاز کامل 10 از 10 داده بود. نقدش هست هنوز هم. 8 سال پیش پاراگراف آخر نقد این بود:

Doom 3. You’ve wanted it for ages, and now its here. It’s great. It’s pretty. It’s scary. It’s demanding. Go buy it if you can play it, because you’ll definitely like it.Doom 3 is here, and Doom 3 is awesome.

الآن اینه:

It may be dubbed the ultimate collection but even on consoles the BFG Edition is far from ideal. As a PC game its existence is highly questionable; any esoteric changes made on id’s part have already been done better by a dedicated modding community. Doom 3 may not be a groundbreaking title but there’s a certain reverence for many aspects of its experience, no matter how dated it has become. It was divisive, memorable and holds a particular place in history; the BFG Edition loses all of this. There’s no discerning reason for it.

این جور کالکشن دادنا حساب کتاب داره، تا سونی(گاو کالکشن، ایکو کالکشن،...) و مایکروسافت(کامبت ایوولود انیورسری) یه کاری کردن هر "از ننه قهر کرده ای" هم یاد می گیرن، این جوری میخوان ملت رو سرکیسه کنن؛ اون از کپکام که با RE4 HDـش گند زد، اون از یوبی سافت که تمام کالکشن هاش آشغال بود، این هم از دووم 3. فقط یه کوجیما بود که کالکشن متال گیرش واقعا خوب بود...

فکر نکنم ID و جان کارمک ننه قهر کرده باشن.!
البته درست میگی سونی سالی 1-2تا GOW تا دسته می کنه تو حلقوم ملت تا یه سودی به جیب بزنه.
