نقدهای در حال تکمیل سایت‌های Destructoid و PC Gamer منتشر شده و هر دو نظرشون تقریبا مثبته و تا الان از بازی خوششون اومده:

Stay tuned as I work my way through Dishonored 2 to see if it holds up throughout, but for now, I'm hooked. Whether you're looking to break into the series for the first time or already couldn't get enough of Corvo's antics as it is, it's a pretty easy recommendation, and yet another reason why Bethesda's "no early copy" policy is not needed. They should have been proud of this

What interests me is whether, further into the game, Dishonored 2 is able to distinguish itself from its predecessor. Many of the core systems are close enough that I'm confident in its quality, and every environment I've seen suggests Arkane hasn't lost its touch, even in these larger spaces. The question becomes whether there'll be anything more memorable than Dishonored's standout mission, Lady Boyle's Last Party. And whether the choices I'm making—those important little details—have any notable effect as I get further in. Dishonored 2 is already shaping up to be a great stealth and action game. If it's got enough surprises in store, it could be one of the best immersive sims around

خیلی نسبت به بازی مطمئن نبوده:

To be honest, Dishonored 2 hasn’t quite hooked me as much as I thought after six hours. There have been some frustrating moments and I’m dying to access some new powers — but the same is true for the original. It slowly grew on me, and ended up being one of my favourite games of last generation once I understood all there was to it and used everything at my disposal. Still, if you’re unsure, I have to advise waiting a few days for full reviews to come out, on Stevivor and elsewhere. The original Dishonored became a hit through word of mouth, and Dishonored 2 is more or less in the same boat

I may end up being alone in this opinion, but I felt this way early on, and I’m still feeling this way as the game draws to a close. The split hero idea was interesting, but the final product makes me feel like I’m only playing half a game, given what’s been locked away.

There is a 9GB update day one for retail copies, which is a little disappointing for gamers who simply want to play the game as soon as they buy it, but it’s worth the wait. Dishonored 2 is better than it’s predecessor in almost every way, and Arkane Studios have more than delivered on this sequel. There’s loads of content to go through in this unique world. This is a must-buy for all gamers this holiday season, especially if you’re like me and want a good single-player experience to sit down with.

سایت Gamereactor ضمن اینکه از بازی تعریف کرده در مورد مشکلات نسخه ی PC نوشته که :

We should probably also address the concerns of some players on PC. We've played on both our desktop and a laptop, and we've experienced no issues with it thus far. That, however, is not what a lot of people are reporting, so it's worth bearing in mind that not everybody on PC is enjoying a seamless experience. For those having issues, Bethesda has posted some advice on Steam that may help improve performance.

Dishonored 2 is the perfect example of the “more of the same” concept. It has the same exact good features as the first chapter but the same problems as well. Other than this, it's probably one of the best stealth title on the market right now

Dishonored 2’s in-game clock says I’m about 10 hours in, but I’d guess I’m at almost twice that in real-world terms. I’m nowhere near ready to run a
review yet, but my immediate impressions? It’s bigger, more fleshed out, more fluid. There are more ways to be stealthy, more ways to be clever. The scale feels larger, but in some ways, the game is slightly more disappointing for it.

Xbox Achievements 90/100

Dishonored was a genuine surprise when it launched four years ago; an innovative first-person experience that confounded expectations. That Dishonored 2 manages to once again surprise and amaze as much as the first game did is testament to what Arkane has crafted here. Dishonored 2 is quite simply one of the greatest games this year, and quite possibly one of the best of this generation. Do yourself a favour and go get it​
