Forget Crackdown 2 ever happened, Crackdown 3 is the sequel we deserve.

GamingTrend 85
Crackdown 3 makes no sense on paper. Its story is nonsense, you spend way too much time searching for hidden orbs and leveling up, and the presentation isn’t anything spectacular. And yet, the over-the-top madness and hilarious, memorable moments it brought me made it impossible to put down. While the PvP multiplayer mode falls short of what it’s trying to achieve, there’s a lot to love about Crackdown’s long overdue return.

God is a Geek 75
Loud, brash and gleefully addictive at times, Crackdown 3 is unashamedly fun, even if it does feel more like a remake than a sequel.

Vandal 75
Crackdown is back with a fun game that ends up being quite repetitive. Sumo Digital has done a great job finishing this title, but we expected a more evolved concept after so many years. The Wrecking Zone, at the moment, is pretty much a proof of concept, and we hope this multiplayer mode grows with future updates.

EGM 70
Crackdown 3 is just more Crackdown. For some players, that will be enough. But compared to what Crackdown 3 initially promised, what we ended up with seems lacking in depth and destruction. When it’s good, like with its boss fights, there’s nothing like it. Unfortunately, there’s just too much filler, and with its most exciting feature demoted to a fairly minor multiplayer mode, Crackdown 3 just isn’t the step forward that it could have been.

Press Start Australia 70
Crackdown 3 is without a doubt the best Crackdown yet. It successfully builds upon the previous two games to offer an open world experience that, while formulaic, is still incredibly enticing. This is in part due to the very flexible combat system, which offers heaps of different ways to be as destructive as possible. It’s structure has been seen before, sure, and as such Crackdown 3 doesn’t break ground in many ways, but it’s still such an enjoyable experience that I’m not sure it entirely matters

TheSixthAxis 70
Crackdown 3 manages to escape its troubled development in style, offering up a somewhat safe return to the superhero cop action of its predecessors in a bright and unpretentious campaign. It feels like the perfect antidote to some of the more bloated open world experiences of recent years. You can also briefly revel in the Wrecking Zone’s glorious destruction, even if all that fancy cloud tech simply leaves you hungry for what the game could have been.

Windows Central 60
Crackdown 3 just doesn't meet contemporary standards as a premium $60 title, with dated visuals, thin gameplay features, and an under-delivered story. There are too many open world superhero-style games that simply do it better. That said, it's not a bad game, by any means. To enjoy Crackdown 3, you probably need to be the type of person who really likes basic sandbox mayhem, because that's effectively all Crackdown 3 has (and wants) to offer.

DarkStation 60
In the end, Crackdown 3 isn’t a bad game. It’s just... fine. It’s largely inoffensive, the combat is generally OK, the driving is harmlessly average. Graphically, the game looks alright and retains the finely cel-shaded look adopted by the 2005 game. It’s a fun enough to spend a couple hours with at any given time, be it hunting orbs or taking down Terra Nova facilities. I imagine it’d be even better with friends, being one of those games that’s fun to meet up and just goof around for a little bit. The thing is, though, Crackdown 3 feels stuck in 2005. Hero-based open world games, like Spider-Man, Just Cause, hell, even Skyrim and Grand Theft Auto, have either pushed the genre further in their own ways or made playing around in sandboxes fun, fast, and thrilling. Crackdown 3 isn’t bad, it just drives aggressively down the middle of the road.

Destructoid 60
Crackdown 3 is a good Crackdown game, which, unfortunately, doesn't mean much anymore.

The Escapist 60
Crackdown 3 is an enjoyable mess.

Screen Rant 50
Crackdown 3 is an Xbox 360 game pretending to belong in the current console generation.

App Trigger 40
Crackdown 3 is a severely outdated sandbox title that neither pushes boundaries or evolves itself in any way. While it puts an emphasis on gameplay, the game does the absolute bare minimum to provide any entertainment for the player and, instead, creates a 20-hour-long headache.

حتی نمیدونم چطور God is the Geek بهش ۷.

Laughing:
