بچه ها میشه لینک جایی که سونی گفته مدل ارزونتر پورت اچ دی نداره رو بدید؟
So it looks like even the 599usd/eur model will not have the 2 HDMI ports the prototype had last year at E3 2005.
There's more ... the prototype had 6 USB slots, the retail PS3 will have 4 (USB 2.0). Also ethernet went from 3 ports in the prototype to 1 gigabit eithernet for the retail.
The Blu-Ray drive will have the following speed: BD x2, DVD x8, CD x24, SACD x2.
AV output will support: 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p (no 720i ?
new PS3 Controller with the motion sensing (which is nothing new, Microsoft and Logitech used it in 1994 on PC and there has even been a motion sensing controller for the Atari 2600 and Atari 800 that dates back more than 20 years ... see this gamespot article) will no longer support the vibration ("dual-shock") feature.
According to Sony: "Pursuant to the introduction of this new six-axis sensing system, the vibration feature that is currently available on DUALSHOCK and DUALSHOCK 2 controllers for PlayStation and PlayStation 2, will be removed from the new PS3 controller as vibration itself interferes with information detected by the sensor."
Other changes include the fact that the shape of the L2/R2 buttons on top of the controller have been enlarged, with "increased depth in stroke for more subtle control in games".
Also "the tilting angle of the analog joysticks has been slightly broadened" to enable more delicate operation, and all information detection precision has been increased from 8 bit to 10 bit.
At first grip, the PS3 controller was light -- too light. It felt cheap, like one of those third party knockoffs. But obviously Sony has a different perception about the new weight. If indeed developers embrace the motion technology, then a lighter controller will be easier on the wrists.
