من این رو save میکنم ، اگر 401 $ اعلام شد .. امکان نداره یعنی به هیچ عنوان ps3 نمیتونه 400 دلار باشه ... اگر هم باشه این قیمت اصلا منطقی نیست ، شما کنسولی که بابت هر دونش 900 $ شایدم بیشتر خرج میشه میخوای 400 دلار تهیه کنی ؟

چند تا نکته رو یادآوری کنم:
اولا این آقای کیانوش کنی که میبینید از نظر من و خیلی های دیگه حرفه ای ترین گیمر ایران هست!FACT و این گونه توهین ها به معلومات ایشون به هیچ عنوان از جانب دیگر کاربران تحمل نمیشه!
دوما این تاپیک محل گذاشتن اخبار و بحث است نه جنگ و جدل از اونجایی که لحن بحث صمیمانه هست خواهش میکنم این قدر شدید پاسخ گوی همدیگه نباشید چون کلا این تاپیک که یکی از پربارترین تاپیک های سایت هست منحرف میشه!
سوما هر کس باسه خودش نظری داره و نظرش هم محترمه. پس به سلایق و نظرات همدیگه هم توهین نکنید!
چهارما هر کس میتونه باسه خودش حدس هایی بزنه ولی این تاپیک محل حدس و گمان نیست برای این کار تاپیک جداگانه باید زده بشه مثل همین جریان هزینه تولید و قیمت ps3.

خبر ساخت بازی Viva Pinata بر روی صفحه اصلی Washingtonpost رفت! بعد از انتشار تصاویر و اطلاعات این بازی سر و صدای زیادی به راه انداخته شد و این بازی توانست به راحتی نظر گیمرها را به خود جلب کند ضمن این که همه معتقد هستند که تلاش مایکروسافت برای جلب توجه گیمرهای کم سن و سال و گیمرهای زن و دختر بسیار خوب و قابل تقدیر است FACT.

جریان اون بمب هم اینه که آقای ایواتا رئیس نینتندو توی نمایشگاه GDC قراره سخنرانی کنه و شایعه شده که ایشون اطلاعاتی در مورد روولوشن فاش میکنه که به بمب خبری شبیه هستند. البته این که ایشون در مورد روولوشن صحبت میکنه 100 درصد درسته اما اینکه این اخبار و اطلاعات چقدر بزرگ باشن هنوز معلوم نیست و باید تا یک هفته دیگه صبر کرد :cheesygri

XBOX 360 Hacked?!

اولین اطلاعات در رابطه با هک کردن کنسول XBOX360:

Word is out on the street that a flaw in the Xbox 360 DVD firmware may allow a hacker to install his own custom firmware in there unchecked, and as such gain full control of what the DVD will or will not accept. In practice, this would mean that the drive could gain the capability to boot backups of original game DVD’s by flashing a self-built firmware in there which ignores the mandatory disc signing.

Word on the street is that some smart people of this board combined their forces, formed an underground team and are very, VERY close to getting the first 360 backup booting…

Firmware. I doubt you’ll see some kind of OTHER hack soon, that lets you boot unsigned code for example. MS did a very good job on the 360 itself this time. However, they made a big mistake by forgetting about the firmware. They even didn’t remove the debug routines from the FW, quite amazing … The 360 has a little bit more advanced protection in its FW than the original xbox, but still, they did some stupid things (like forgetting about the debug routines, that were very helpful to us, hehe, and most importantly: not signing the firmware). I’m betting they’ll develop the MPU in the drive from scratch for their next gen consoles and sign the code in the FW

این جور که پیداست خیلی نزدیک شدند و خنگ بازی مایکروسافت!!!! در زمینه امنیتی باز کار دستش داده البته این طور که گفتن مایکروسافت از لحاظ امنیتی روی XBOX360 [یلی بهتر از XBOX کار کرده.

اینجور که پیداست کار هک کردن Firmware کنسول XBOX360 مراحل پاینی اش رو میگذرونه اما طبق گفته یکی از کسانی که در انجام این کار سهیم است چون این کار غیر قانون است و پس از جریان دستگیری اون هکر روسی همه چشمشون ترسیده اونها حتی اگر در هک کردن کنسول موفق هم بشوند خودشون اون رو عرضه نمیکنند(جرات ااین کار را ندارند) ولی خب مطمئنا کسانی هستند که به خاطر پول هر ریسکی رو قبول میکنند. مثل اینکه واقعا تا تابستون میتونیم با XBOX360 نسل بعد رو تجربه کنیم. ضمنا نام مستعار این فرد The Specialist هست:

Specialist, great news indeed, but a question i know alot of ppl are wondering about is:

1. Will MS be able to patch this security hole via those pesty live updates? Or will that be impossible for them until next revisited version of 360`s hit the street?
2. Will this hack be possible to execute for the "average" dork, who hasnt any experience in soldering or advanced electronics?
3. Will it be awesome?

1. Yes. However, every patch they come up with can be hacked (very fast) again. So it might become some sort of cat/mouse game ... But the hacker will always win because the hardware is designed in the 'wrong' way for MS to win that game
2. You'll have to be able to flash you firmware. Currently there's no method to do it via software, so you'll need a hardware programmer. However, it's possible to do it via software, it only has to be researched
3. Yes and No. Yes, it will work, but the problem is that I highly doubt that the team will release a hacked 'ready to go' firmware ... I think a lot of hackers (including me) are reluctant to do this. The threat from MS and its lawyers is real. Even though it might be legal in some countries, if you visit the US they can arrest you there (like they arrested that Russian guy when he visited the US) ... Well, maybe a text document with bytes differing from original and hacked FW is possible => it's not a 'device' to circumvent copy protection' and it will only serve eductional purposes of course That way only the person that is going to use that information to create such a 'device' (software) is the one that is doing something illegal and not the hacker I suppose ... But again, I'm not a lawyer and it is a VERY slippery slope we're on here ... You'll have to understand that a FW hack differs in 2 ways from what bunnie did:
1. Bunnie could hide behind the fact that his intention was only to boot Linux
2. Bunnie could hide behind his academic paper he was writing. This was some kind of 'safeguard' for him, since MS would be more reluctant to have an academic researcher arrested (although that russian guy was also an academic researcher, even speaking at a conference the moment they arrested him, hehe)

So, we'll see what happens... At least, there's is very good progress being made and the team is probably going to show soon that it IS possible, hehe... And I suspect sooner or later somebody will probably take his chances and upload a hack something somewhere But again ... I doubt that there'll be anything else than a 'we did it' statement in the beginning ... I think if you're hoping on a ready-to-go firmware hack, others would have to follow in the team's footsteps, that are not as much in the 'limelight' as the hackers on this board

The last thing I want to do is to give anybody hope and I realize I'm already kinda doing that I mean, like I said, since there probably won't be a release, it isn't really going to be an interesting event to the majority of the xbox scene That said, I also can't 'promise' a date/time that the 'news' will hit the scene, all I can say is that the team is in the 'final' stage of the process And maybe there won't even be any 'news release' at all .. I do understand that a 'we did it statement' without release will only frustrate a lot of people ... I think the team has to think very good about what its' going to do if and when the first backup boots But I think it will be hard to come up with a solution that both satisfies the scene to its fullest extent and also lets the hackers sleep well at night, without having to hide behind the sofa everytime the doorbell rings

Is there any reason to assume if such a hack is made public, that they wont modify the 360 firmware to perform a checksum on the dvd drives firmware every boot, and refuse to run if it doesnt match up to a known value?

Well, if the 360 wants the checksum, it has to ask the firmware for it And since we control the firmware, we can tell the 360 anything we want That's what I meant that with that the hacker is always going to win the 'cat/mouse' game, since the hardware was designed in the wrong way for MS to win that game
