Borderlands 2 عنوانی با تمی وسترن - پسا آخر الزمانی ( Post Apocalyptic ) به همراه المان های نقش آفرینی و دنباله ای بر عنوان پیشین خود که در سال 2009 منتشر شده بود، است. همچنان همانند نسخه قبل، ساخت کاراکتر خود وجود خواهد داشت و 4 شخصیت قابل بازی وجود خواهد داشت. البته این کاراکترها شخصیت های کاملا جدیدی خواهند بود. بر طبق گفته های سازنده این بازی، این عنوان نسبت به نسخه اول متنوع تر و بزرگ تر خواهد بود. این تنوع شامل سلاح ها و محیط ها و دشمنان خواهد بود.

علاوه بر این، آقای Jasper Foreman سرپرست برنامه نویسان هوش منوعی بازی گفته است که دشمنان در این نسخه باهوش تر از آن چیزی خواهند بود که در عنوان نخست دیدیم. همچنین تنوع دشمنان بازی به 200 - 300 نمونه خواهد رسید که رقم قابل توجهی است.

گرافیک بازی نیز همانند قسمت قبل، Cell Shade خواهد بود که این مورد به جذاب تر شدن بازی کمک خواهد کرد. داستان بازی 5 سال پس از اتفاقات قسمت قبل اتفاق خواهد افتاد که پیرامون سرزمین Pandora خواهد بود.

کسانی که بازی رو پیش خرید کردن، 21 سپتامبر که بازی توی اروپا عرضه میشه میتونن این کلاس رو انتخاب کنن ولی اونایی که پیش خرید نکردن، باید 60 روز برای یک DLC منتظر بمونن تا بتونن این کلاس رو داشته باشن.

Borderlands 2 PC Menu Screenshots: A Good PC Version in a Storm of Bad Ports?

Gearbox gets a high-five for showing the PC some respect.



Need something to wash the bad taste of the sloppy Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition port from your mouth (you know, the mouth in your brain)? How about some screenshots of Borderlands 2's PC menu screens? Sure, Claptrap made a lot of promises in his Love Letter to PC Gamers, but for many of us, seeing is believing -- and now we can believe that Gearbox will include options for unlimited framerate, adjustable field of view, disabling mouse smoothing, and numerous graphical quality settings we expect to see from a PC version. Check'em out, and breathe a breath of fresh air.
Gearbox also asked me to remind everyone that yes, there will be Steamworks multiplayer matchmaking (yes, I agree it's better than the service that shares the GameSpy name but is owned an run by a different company) and will have mouse-usable menus. It sure sounds and looks like everything we could ask for, but of course we'll put all of that to the test when we get hold of a review copy -- you can look for our impressions sometime around Borderlands 2's September 18 release date.

Hey, while we're praising good ports, let's also give a shout-out to the good folks at Square Enix and United Front, who did a very respectful job on the PC version of Sleeping Dogs.
