[h=1]Sony Reward system trades points for games in the US[/h]Sony has launched a new points system that rewards customer loyalty with games, accessories and even games consoles.
The US-only Sony Reward system is free to sign up to, and once registered allows customers to accrue a single point for every dollar spent.
Products such as PlayStation Plus subscriptions, console games, systems, accessories and Sony TVs were advertised as possible rewards. However, the exact points required for these devices has not yet been disclosed.
Customers can build up points by shopping for a wide range of media and products across the PlayStation Store, Sony Entertainment Network online store, and Sony Stores.
Sony also says that points offers will be available at select third-party online retailers such as the websites of Gamestop, Best Buy, Target and Walmart.
Sony is offering 100 bonus points to those who sign up, a 500% bonus on your first PSN purchase. An even bigger bonus is available for those who use the official PlayStation credit card.
