بازي اول شخص Tiberium

شماره ژانويه 2008 نشريه Gaminformer گزارشي از بازي اول شخص جديد EA كه توسط استوديوي EA Los Angles يعني سازنده بعضي از بازي هاي استراتژي C&C و Medal of Honor است رو منتشر كرده. اسم بازي Tiberium و بر اساس دنياي بازي هاي C&C ساخته مي شه. اين بازي يك اول شخص تيمي به صورت هيبريدي از سبك بازي هاي C&C Renegade و Battlefield (پس پيش بيني من درست از آب در اومد) است. بازي از فوريه 2007 در دست توليد بوده و EALA موتور CryEngine2 رو براي توليد اين بازي لايسنس كرده. گيمر در اين بازي در نقش فرماندهي به نام Ricardo Vega (كه از اسمش به نظر مياد از سرباز هاي NOD باشه ولي نيرو هاي موجود در تصوير همگي GDI هستند) بازي مي كنه و ماموريت پيدا مي كنه تا يكي از برج هاي نيرو هاي فضايي رو (مطمئن نيستم Scirn باشن، شايد نژاد اصلي Tiberian Sun هستند) كه در كف خشك شده درياي مديترانه واقع شده، بررسي كنه. اما اون چيزي كه من در مورد اين IP اشتباه كرده بودم اين بود كه من گفتم Titan ها در Tiberium Wars به اين دليل حذف شدن كه EA مي خواهد در سري بازي هاي اول شخص مبتني بر C&C از تايتن هاي بازي Battlefield استفاده كنه. خوب اين اشتباه بوده؛ چون در تصاوير بازي Tiberium مي شه يك تايتن واقعي مربوط به جنگ دوم رو ديد. عرضه اين بازي نشون مي ده EA با هر IP درست مثل يك ليمو ترش عمل مي كنه. مثل اين كارخونه هايي كه براي گرفتن آبليمو، ليمو ترش رو آنچنان فشار مي دن كه آب پوستش هم در مياد و كل آبليمو رو زهر مار مي كنه، EA هم قصد داره حد اكثر استفاده رو از اسم C&C بكنه. من شخصاً اميدوار هستم EA به اين IP و اين بازي گند نزنه و يك داستان درست و حسابي هم براش بنويسه. به هر حال سومين بازي اكشن در سري C&C بازي جالبي به نظر مياد.

من اين بخش رو از پست دوست عزيزمون Pandora Tomorrow (درست پايين پست من) استخراج كردم:

گيمر در اين بازي رهبري يك گروه زبده رو به دست مي گيره و به اسلحه هاي مختلفي نظير يك سيستم سلاح نفري با قابليت تغيير شكل و سلاح هاي موشكي با قابليت پرتاب همزمان چند موشك دسترسي داره و حتي ميتونه از سفينه مادر درخواست بمباران يا حتي Ion Canon Strike يعني حمله با توپ يوني كه قوي ترين سلاح در دنياي بازي هاي C&C هست رو بكنه. پس جناب آقاي وگا قطعاً جزو نيرو هاي GDI هست نه Nod و اسمش خيلي گول زننده است! علاوه بر اين در اين متن نوشته شده اين پايگاه نيرو هاي فضايي كاملاً فعاله و در اون نقشه حمله گسترده نيرو هاي فضايي به زمين در حال طرح ريزي. براي همين من احتمال ميدم با توجه به حضور تايتن در بازي و "نقشه حمله" نيرو هاي فضايي به زمين، زمان داستان بازي مربوط به جنگ دوم يا كمي قبل از جنگ سوم باشه.

Deep within the tower, plans are in motion for an alien invasion. This is where the Tiberium adventure begins.

Players step into the shoes of Forward Battle Commander Ricardo Vega and will assemble an assortment of elite squads to combat the global crisis. Armed with an arsenal of weapons including a transforming personal weapon system, multi-launch homing missiles, capital ship bombardments and tactical ion cannon strikes, Vega will lead the fight from the front lines.

Featuring a unique blend of first-person shooting and tactical squad combat, players will control multiple infantry, armour, and air squads as the fight escalates. In Tiberium, Vega is the most powerful presence on the battlefield, and the squads are his most decisive weapon. Players can take multi-squad control combat into single-player or bring the action into online multiplayer battles.

تاريخ و زمان توليد بازي

نكته جالب ديگري كه در اين دو خبر مي بينيم اينكه كه اونها اعلام كردن موتور CryEngine 2 رو در فوريه 2007 لايسنس كردن و شروع به توليد بازي كردن ولي در خبر اقاي Pandora Tomorrow مي بينيم ميگن بازي دو سال در دست توليد بوده. پس به اين نتيجه مي رسيم بازي قبلاً با يك موتور ديگه (به احتمال قوي موتور Quake 4 يا Unreal 2 يا UE3 كه EA لايسنس همشون رو داره) در دست توليد بوده و يك سال بعد از شروع توليد، اونها موتور بازي رو عوض كردن كه كار واقعاً پر زحمتي چون به روند توليد بازي آسيب مي زنه و زحمت تيم رو زياد مي كنه چون عملاً مثل اينه كه كار يك سالشون رو دور بريزن و فقط از Design و داستان و موسيقي بازي اصلي استفاده كنن. به هر حال به دليل شهرت و محبوبيت موتور CryEngine2 و باي Crysis احتمالاً اين ريسك ارزشش رو داشته.
