FEAR Online Review review
Despite its name, F.E.A.R. Online fails in its main intention: to bring to the fans a an online F.E.A.R. game true to the franchise. The PvE isn't immersive or scary, there is no compelling story, and the graphics are sub-par if compared with other free-to-play shooters around. You could save the PvP part of the game, which could be exciting and fun to play, but honestly there is better stuff on the market right now. You could give it a chance if you are a die-hard F.E.A.R. fan, otherwise you could easily find something better to spend your time on.

While there are certainly worse and more intrusive lobby-based shooters out there, F.E.A.R. Online has the added stigma of trying to attach itself to a popular horror shooter franchise with less than ideal results. Long-time fans of the F.E.A.R. franchise might get a kick out of seeing familiar faces like Alma Wade pop up here and there but calling F.E.A.R. Online a proper F.E.A.R. game would be giving it an honor it does not deserve. If you’re desperate for a new online shooter to try out, F.E.A.R. Online might tide you over for a bit. F.E.A.R. fans should steer clear however as F.E.A.R. Online is, in many regards, aF.E.A.R. game in name only.

F.E.A.R. Online Review
F.E.A.R. Online does manage to bring an interesting experience for online gamers, but FEAR fans will be disappointed that they don’t find some elements from the games they once loved. Despite that, if you are looking for a decent online shooter with lots of levels, progression system, a good player base and even some potential as skill-based FPS in the PvP modes, this is an interesting title to look at. From our experience, it’s well worth to play, although the recommended option is in short bursts!
