I'll explain why someone would want HDMI:
1: DVDCCA, AACS consortium & ICT (& 360 VGA wonkiness)
2: Very few HDTVs will not accept 1080p over component, and most will not take it over VGA.
3: HDMI 1.3 provides audio options that optical or coaxial audio do not.
4: HDMI can carry higher quality video.
5: HDMI is a wonderful cabling solution. If you have 4 component video devices on a switch box (4:1), like I do, you have at least 20 cables on the back of that box.
بله ولي اين خبر خيلي قديميه . واين دستگاه هم اومده !XFPS 360 for X-Box 360!

براي بازي هاي FPS
he XFPS 360 for a FPS gamer in its design is a dream come true. First off the XPFS 360 came in a very well packaged box. The sheer amount of bubble wrap that was used to protect this awesome piece of hardware was very well done to say the least. So you will not have to worry about it being damaged at all one bit. The XFPS 360 also came with an instruction manual that was in a plastic sleeve to protect it from being damaged as well.
The games I tested the XFPS 360 with were Call of Duty 3, F.E.A.R, and Lost Planet. You should take note that hooking things up with out reading what should be hooked up first will make the XFPS 360 not function properly.. so take the time to read what should be plugged in first- which is as follows:
Hooking Up The XFPS 360:
(standard USB keyboard and a regular mouse)
1: Turn on the X-Box 360 first with no controller pads plugged in.
2: Plug the X-Box 360 pad into either of the USB ports on the XFPS 360.
3: Plug the keyboard to its assigned port and the mouse to the assigned port on the XFPS 360.
4: Plug the XFPS 360 into the first USB port on the X-Box 360.
You will see the indicator light on the XFPS 360 come on letting you know all connections are working as should be. I used a 15 dollar USB keyboard and a 3 year old Dell ball mouse and it worked great. This is by far my favorite setup to use.
Hooking Up The XFPS 360:
(USB keyboard and USB mouse)
1: Turn on the X-Box 360 first with no controller pads plugged in.
2: Plug the X-Box 360 pad into either of the USB ports on the XFPS 360.
3: Once the indicator light comes on unplug the X-Box 360 controller from the X-Box 360.
4: Plug the USB keyboard to its assigned port and the USB mouse to the assigned port on the XFPS 360.
5: Plug the XFPS 360 into the first USB port on the X-Box 360.
I tried my Logitech® Optical Mouse and it worked great with my USB keyboard however using my MX518 gaming mouse it would not work at all. It would do random buttons on any movement with the MX518. I also have a great tip for you- Get yourself a USB to PS/2 mouse/keyboard adapter. If not, then in order to set your own custom key mappings you are going to have to do a lot of unplugging and plugging back in the USB mouse or USB keyboard.
To do a custom configuration you are going to have to do the following if you don't have that USB to PS/2 mouse/keyboard adapter:
1: Unplug either your USB mouse/USB keyboard (which ever one you plan on mapping)
2: Plug your X-Box 360 controller in that same port.
3: Having already switched to set mode, you press the "P" button.
4: Press what button needs mapped.
5: Unplug your X-Box 360 controller.
6: Plug the device you unplugged in step 1.
7: Press the button you want mapped.
- OR -
If you had a USB to PS/2 adapter:
1: Having already switched to set mode, you press "P".
2: Press the button on the X-Box 360 you want mapped.
3: Press the corresponding button on the device you want mapped.
Hooking Up The XFPS 360:
(PS2 control pad)
1: Turn on the X-Box 360 first with no controller pads plugged in.
2: Plug the PSX controller into the PS2 port on the XFPS 360.
3: Plug the XFPS 360 into the USB port of the X-Box 360.
Once you see the indicator light come on you are in buisness! If you are a PSX fan then you will no doubt love how this pans out. I play all consoles and this feels like your on the PSX, but of course you're not. I didn't have to repeat the steps to get it to function properly after turning off the X-Box 360. This is actually my second favorite method of playing FPS. With the actual X-Box 360 controller coming in last.
Default Configuration:
My main concern with XFPS 360 was how good the mouse movement would be interperated through the XFPS 360. Every true FPS gamer knows that the mouse is the most accurate thing you can use in your arsenal when playing FPS games. To my suprise is actually very good, the movements of a FPS gamer are almost unreal if you take into account how accurate you have to be to get the HEAD SHOT you want and need to be king of newbs.
Out of the box the accuracy of the mouse movement wasn't what I personally like, but I went into the options menu of the game at hand which was Call of Duty 3. I adjusted the horizontal and vertical sensitivity and that was just what I neededed to feel right at home when playing. It truely felt like I was on my PC gaming rig! The default configuration can be found in the instructional manual.
Custom Configuration:
This is the second most important factor when playing a FPS. Not everyone likes using the default button mapping. So the XFPS 360 doesn't come short when implementing this into their product. The only buttons that you can't program are the default movement keys (W,A,S,D) which are mapped to the left analog stick of the X-Box 360 control pad. The right analog stick is mapped to the mouse movement. The directional pad (up, down) is mapped to the mouse wheel up and down- which doesn't restrict the main functions of a FPS game. The X-Box 360 Controller can't be mapped to any button on the PSX. The default configuration for this is in the instructional manual.![]()
Upon further testing in set mode (setting different mappings). It seems to be in a set loop no matter what mouse or keyboard I use or what mapping I use. When ever I fire using the left mouse button it will automatically throw a nade in set mode. If I fire using the X-Box 360 it won't throw a nade. If I use default configuration it won't get in a set loop.
To fix the above all you do is switch to to set mode on the XFPS 360 and hold the "P" button on the XFPS 360 for 5 seconds. This will erase all saved custom mappings and you will be all set!![]()
Programming The XFPS 360:
I really like how they implemented this feature in the final product. Simply turn the default switch to set on the XFPS 360. Press the "P" button on the XFPS 360 and wait for the indicator light to come on. Then press the button you want to map on the X-Box 360 control pad. The indicator light will begin blinking which indicates to you that you can now map the key on the corresponding keyboard. When you turn off the X-Box 360 you will not have to reprogram the XFPS 360 to your liking. It will save all custom mappings- enjoy guys!
