GEARS OF WAR E-DAY نسخه بعدی از مجموعه بازیهای این فرنچایز میباشد که به عنوان سری اصلی محسوب میشود و نه به عنوان یک Spin-off. داستان E-DAY روایت اتفاقات هولناک و سلاخی شدن انسانها توسط موجودات ناشناخته زیر زمینی به نام لوکاست در امرجنس-دی را به تصویر میکشد. SERA بعد از 79 سال جنگ پندولوم بین دو ابر قدرت نظامی Union of the independent republic و Coalition of the ordered government بر سر منابع انرژی زیر زمینی ( Imulsion ) برای مدت کوتاهی روی آرامش رو به خود دید و مردمان Sera برای اولین بار به آینده روشن و بدون جنگ امیدوار شدند. در این زمان قهرمانان جوان جنگ یعنی مارکِس فینِکس و دامینیک سانتیاگو که در غم از دست دادن دوست و برادر خود یعنی کارلوس سانتیاگو شریک بودند متاسفانه از فاجعه ای که در انتظارشان هست کاملا بی خبرند، تهدیدات و کابوس های مرگباری که فقط آن را در رویای تلخ و ناخوشایند خود تصور میکردند. هیولاهایی که از زیر تخت بیرون می آیند!

حماسی ترین شماره گیرز با کات سین های دراماتیک و اتفاقات سوپرایز کننده و باس های خفن به یادماندنی کدوم شماره هست به نظر شما ؟؟؟

بی شک شماره ۲ ، همین چند وقت پیش دوباره سه گانه اصلی رو بازی کردم شماره ۲ واقعا بنظرم بهترین نسخه گیرزه . فکر نکنم شروع اپیک تری از سخنرانی prescott و لشکر کشی به landown در حالی که اهنگ armored prayer پلی میشه تو بازی دیگه ای پیدا شه .

پ.ن : واقعا حیف شد برای نسخه ها جدید گیرز از steve jablonsky استفاده نکردن سطح ساندترک ها سه گانه اصلی خیلی بالاتر بود از ۴ و ۵ .

حتی استایل لباس Marcus هم از کامیک بوک الگوبرداری شده.

The Locust are a motley crew of bloody, barbaric nightmare creatures. According to Fawcette, the Spore Matron is inspired by the Gas Barge (those giant floating skull monstrosities) from Gears of War 2. But where the Gas Barge was all bone, the Spore Matron is all flesh: a bulbous, 10-foot-wide balloon who spews spores that fly after you, only stopping when you shoot them out of the sky. Was Fawcette’s initial description accurate? Well, you can decide for yourself

“It's so twisted and hilarious, [in a way] that only Gears could do. And when you see it and you fight it, it's just like, ‘What the fuck is that?’” Fawcette said. “It's just kind of perfect, because there is this mix of a very serious, heavy, dark subject — you know, sometimes there's very heavy themes — and then there's these over the top situations, characters, creatures: the sci-fi element.”
